Another Look At Original Evidence

As we have said before the purpose of evidence is to establish a fact. And the Kingdom of God (KoG) is that fact and subject of this blog’s investigation. Jesus the master said we will be known for our love, because that is the substance of the Kingdom. So let’s take another look at the “love” evidence.

Many people claim to present God to others, or say they represent God for others. If those presentation and representations are true, then there should be one piece of evidence that authenticates those claims about God or His Kingdom.

 1 John 4:12
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

 1 John 4:20
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Another functions concerning evidence is that it separates truth from untruth. In the materialistic world, the world of good and evil, the opposite of love is fear. In the Spiritual Kingdom of God where all is one with God, love is the substance that permeates all that exists. This material world is a mix of fear and love because we that are awake in the KoG are taking the responsibility to help transform this world from fear to love thereby re-establishing the kingdom.

If the substance of God is love, what should the evidence look like that is set before us? More to the point what evidence should we be presenting to this materialistic world as proof that the kingdom is at hand? Since this is an open book test, we can read from scripture that God is love. All kingdoms reflect the character of their king. A king can be peaceful, equitable, faithful and loving, or the king can be dishonest, self-centered, warmongering and fearful. True love and freedom allows everyone to choose which kingdom they want to belong.

 1 John 4:8
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Biblical scripture provides a very famous definition of love which is stated in the book of First Corinthians in chapter 13. Since God = Love, I would have us do something different with this section of scripture. I want us to replace the word “love” with the word “God”. I believe this will provide us with deeper spiritual understanding and give us way to evaluate evidence that is presented to us about God and His kingdom. In other words if the evidence is from “God” then it must be “love” and if it is true according to the scriptural definition below then it is God.

Remember I have underlined and substituted “God” for the word “love”, so now this section reads:

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 God suffers long and is kind; God does not envy; God does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.God never fails….

Please re-read several times switching the words “Love” and “God” in and out of this passage as you meditate on these words.

A consciousness of love is Kingdom evidence; which can be an offensive or a defensive tactic if understood. In the KoG there is both protection and liberty for all who find it. Evidence of that kingdom should provide and promote those qualities of God, for all of mankind. People awake to the kingdom should hold a vision where all 7 billion of us are awake to God’s love and have the freedom to choose His Kingdom. There is coming a day when the knowledge of God and His love will cover the earth like water covers the seas.

In this current materialistic world fear and greed are effective motivations, but love is more powerful in that it motivates and gives greater freedom to all that are involved.  For example when we choose to forgive someone we not only free ourselves from the hurt caused by others and ourselves, we also present an example of free choice for all that observe our act of forgiveness. The evidence of love empowers us to have greater freedom in our relationship with God and all of mankind.

So the next time someone claims to represent God look, taste, smell, feel and listen with your spiritual senses for the substance of love. Take another look for love when evaluating any evidence and if you seek love you will find His Kingdom.

 Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
