Made in the KoG

Evidence is simply the proof of fact. The specific evidence we are discussing is that which concerns the invisible realm. Jesus Christ identified it as the Kingdom within. As sons and daughters of Adam we all live in this 3-dimensional materialistic world and with the use of our 5 senses we observe material objects and the relationships of those objects which includes our own human body. At the birth of Adam God breathed His Spirit into mankind, making him /her capable of experiencing the spiritual world and thus man and women became living souls with flesh and spirit having the ability to observe and interact within both the material and spiritual worlds.

Today most people have lost their awareness of the spiritual realm. Humans are born and trained to rely only their senses that observe only this materialistic world. In Christian religious thought and through a process known as the new birth, people can become awakened again and become aware of the spiritual world also known as the Kingdom of God. Sadly today most of Christian religious participation places much of its biblical focus and understanding only on how our new relationship affects the things of this material world. Furthermore if there is an examination of biblical references to the spiritual realm it is traditionally interpreted to deal with our relationship after death of the human body. In other words as long as we have a material body, biblical references to spiritual laws will apply after we get new spiritual bodies.

Where religion falls short in its exploration the of man’s spiritual conscious, man outside of religion will use it imagination and invent a life free from the constraints of the material world. Today’s media artist create factious characters with abilities to see the dead, experience freedom from death and use heighten brain function that provide the recall of memories, and increased wisdom. The phenomena of vampires, math geniuses, and people with super social and psychic capabilities are very popular today.

But to most people they have no idea that this is the very mission of God or heavenly Father. The bible speaks to Adam as the prototype and also speaks of Jesus as being (excuse my humor) Adam version 2.0 or the last Adam.  Evidence of the Spirit made flesh is the focus of this blog. Encouraging each other to become more like Christ and having the mind of Christ will be this blogs legacy. That is having a spiritual consciousness and an understanding that we need and can make known the things of God. Because God is Spirit and no human eyes can see the image of God. However Jesus was famous for saying “if you see me then you see the Father”.

Genesis 1:26-27 (New King James Version)   Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

So as we explore the testimony of Jesus and gather our personal evidence it is all about making conscience the spiritual realm or the KoG. It is easy to gather evidence concerning the operation of laws in the material world. So unless we become aware of the spiritual realm and train our spiritual senses to observe this invisible Kingdom we will remain blind to the fact. So the reason for this blog is simply to awaken those that are blind and to share with those that are already awake on how to gather evidence for the purpose of awakening others. It is my hope that this will be a conversation because I realize I am on a journey like others and I have a lot to learn. Needless to say that there is still within me the need for a greater awakening.

Please comment or submit evidence:

  1. As to when you became awake to the spiritual realities.
  2. Who was the last person you helped to awaken.

Easy Evidence

Since the Kingdom of God (KoG) is invisible, should we assume that the substance of the Kingdom would be the same? Yes and no. Here is a secret; Love is the substance of the kingdom; God is love. Now that we have just celebrated Valentine’s Day, I hope you noticed how plentiful God is. After all, for less than $5 anybody could have expressed love to someone and most receiving that expression of love would have willingly receive it with joy.

When we talk about God we are talking about eternity and infinity. Just because something is inexhaustible does not mean it is cheap. That may not appear to be true in the material world, because we tend to place value on things that are limited in supply. And so I submit as our first piece of evidence “God’s Love”. This substance is so available it makes no sense to try to lock it up. From the ground we walk on, to the planets in our solar system that help sustain life on earth and the very flesh we live in are all made of this stuff called love.

To prove how plentiful love is think back to Valentine’s Day. The inability to express love is considered a failure at the most basic level of our existence. We are not talking about laying down your life, making a $1000 contribution, or even giving up a major part of your day. On this day you could have given the simplest expression and it was accepted. A simple Hersey’s kiss or a phone call to simply say the words “Happy Valentine’s Day” was sufficient.

As Christians; the death by crucifixion is the one piece of evidence that has clearly stated God’s love for all mankind. That single act, a limited edition, a once and for all demonstration, a never need to be repeated statement that covers the bill for us materialistic minded people. Spiritually “let there be light” should have been enough, because that act by Christ created the relationship in the beginning.

So, I submit LOVE as our first piece of evidence of this spiritual KoG. For people who are conscience of the Kingdom love is the only currency. This is the stuff we give away and use to entice others to become conscience of their true home. If earthly currency is proof of existence for previous civilizations, then love can be the proof of this KoG. After all love is what we are known for.

1 John 4:8 (NKJV) He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

John 13:35 (NKJV) By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

1 John 4:16 (NKJV) And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

 Please comment or submit evidence:

  1. If you revealed the Kingdom with an act of love.
  2. If you received or witnessed a conscience awakening act of the Kingdom.

WELCOME!

This blog is all about what cannot be seen with human eyes. This is my attempt to start a conversation about the Kingdom of God (KoG). It is my goal to use the subject of evidentiary law as a metaphor for demonstrating this invisible Kingdom. Evidence is normally about tangible proof for events that happen in this natural realm. I believe we are all called to present evidence or demonstrate the existence of the spiritual realm once we have discovered it.

Evidence has one purpose and that is to establish fact. Even if we are a firsthand witness we collect and secure the evidence for that one reason. The converse is true of those who destroy evidence. For us who live and operate in both time and eternity we do not need any more proof of its existence. However what we do need is a greater consciousness of our heavenly Father and His Kingdom. For example, after we learn how to paint we can use the basic skills to acquire new skills and become an artist. Spiritual living is also an art that allows God to express the reality of His existence through us.

I do not want this blog to become a place where the conversation is about trying to impress each other with our knowledge. I truly want this to be a place of encouragement and collaboration. I believe the heart behind Jesus’ demonstrations was to cause people’s spiritual awareness to awaken. These demonstrations were also about making people conscious and what is available to mankind. This has been the mission of God from the beginning as it concerns Adam and Eve and all their children.

There is power and confidence in community. For any of us to get here we have had to travel alone and learn to lean on our invisible Father. I would encourage all of us to remain in that attitude of embracing the lone wilderness experiences. If your method has been meditation, fasting, watching, retreating or just plain practicing the presence of God; guard that method and protect it, but always remain willing and open to change.

Our communication with God is precious above all. Chasing manifestations in this material world can lead to disaster. But the awe of discovering a glimpse of our Father expressed, should cause any of His lover’s hearts to skip a beat. It will always be a bonus to share that experience with others. It is not necessary, but to share with a brother or a sister who is also aware of our Father when He moves and say to one another “did you see that, or hear that, smell that, taste that or feel that, is a really cool experience.

The Apostle Paul said it is more effective to demonstrate the reality of what is on the inside of us. Jesus our brother and head of this invisible Kingdom identified it as a spiritual person that we each carry on the inside of us.

1Corinthans 2:1-5 (New King James Version; NKJV)    And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

Luke 17:20-23 (NKJV)    Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there! For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”  22 Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you, ‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them.

I want our conversation to encourage us to become still enough to listen to the still small voice we carry on the inside. Then I want us to be encouraged to act on what we hear. Collecting evidence of the results of God’s working through our lives is proof that we understand and can allow God’s Spirit to operate through us. That, my friends is the art of spiritual living.

**A caution to all. Collecting evidence of the operation of the invisible is the main focus of our conversation; however chasing evidence is not the goal. I promise, I will repeat this often. **

It is true that faith without works is dead but spiritual work is often and on purpose sometimes best kept hidden. Jesus even told people not to tell anyone of the works He performed. Jesus performed miracles with bread and fish several times and many who observed including the disciples totally missed the purpose and the art of the miracle. 2000 plus years later I think we need to heed the lessons and remember in humility we are also flesh and spirit.
