Kingdom Sovereignty is Evidence of Light

Heaven and Hell are locations within creation as well as the status of a spiritual condition. Heaven is a condition that is full of God’s presence which is evident by light and Hell is the condition where God presence is at minimum and darkness is that evidence. One of the purposes of this blog is to bring understanding surrounding God’s Kingdom and encourage its readers to engage in the presentation of Kingdom evidence.

This week an American Ambassador was killed in the line of duty. But as I read comments, especially from Christians about this event, there seems to be very little understanding of the role of a true ambassador. Jesus is King but when He appeared the first time He was fulfilling the role of an ambassador. Likewise Ambassador Jesus was killed by the very people he was sent to.

The Kingdom is about one thing and that is the Presence of God. Biblical scripture records “where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty”. Heaven represents a place where that is true and Hell is it opposite. Jesus teaches His disciples to pray and one of the tenants of that prayer is the notion of bringing heaven to earth or bringing God’s Presence to earth.

An ambassador is sent by sovereign kingdom to another foreign and sovereign kingdom with the mission to influence that foreign Kingdom with its values through diplomatic techniques. The ambassador embodies that mission and the embassy building and staff can only fill that mission for diplamatic relations as long as the ambassador is not recalled. Killing of an ambassador does not end relations on the part of the one who sent the ambassador He can simply appoint another ambassador.

Revelation 22:5 There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

John 1:4-5 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Biblical scripture ask the question “why do the nations rage?” If we being ambassadors understand that we carry the light of His Presence then raging by darkness at the evidence of light is an expected response. Sometimes however, the response is a reaction to the use of judgment and condemnation as diplomatic techniques.  These are never of strategies of God’s Kingdom but these are the devices of worldly and religious kingdoms.

It is not my call to interpret the response of the killing of an American ambassador. But what remains clear is that when Ambassador Jesus was killed darkness saw the light in Jesus as a threat and wanted it removed. We the humans, children of Adam, loved darkness more that the light and through our act of violence God our Father turned what was meant for evil to good and we received our salvation. The killings of God’s Ambassador just embolden His resolved, promoted and authorized His disciples to continue on with the mission.

Love and light in the face of darkness is always a battle for existence for these opposites. If science has proven one thing it is that light will always prevail. Disciples of Christ are encouraged to be salt and light to a world not only to preserve the world but to advance the kingdom. The tree of life was removed so we humans would not remain in a state of eternal separation from God. Likewise we love the enemies of God with His love, in hopes to win them over to God’s Kingdom.

As we remain on mission we provide the world with evidence by using love as a diplomatic tool to spread the Kingdom value of God’s Presence. It is obvious that we are foreigners to this world. Our one desire is to return home where all of our love ones will be waiting. But we understand the importance of our mission and we choose to remain on that mission willing to lay our lives down for our Father’s Kingdom.

We may enjoy the occasional dinner party but we give up the comforts of home, and eat foods of a different culture in hopes of winning converts to our kingdom. We are authorized and are willing to grant asylum to any who ask for it, knowing the Kingdom we serve is able to grant and support full citizenship to any and all. Our evidence is clear because we carry light into darkness and the world is better for it. So let us go in the Spirit of the One who sent us and let us be mindful of the tradition of the true ambassadors who have gone before us.

John 1:6-9 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

Evidence Not Of This World

As we explore the ins and outs of evidence and the laws that influence its presentation, we must understand that we simply use evidence as a way to prove something. That something needs evidence in order to reach a favorable judgment by a jury of our peers. And the evidence of our concern has to do with the spiritual Kingdom of God (KoG).

 John 9:39
And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

If spiritual evidence alone can prove the existance of the KoG then was it was necessary for God send someone outside of this world to reveal that reality to the citizens of this world? Or is God trying to prove something different? The religious organizations of this world work very hard to establish their organizational authority and most of their evidence is based on interpretations of what they think this Kingdom looks like.

However Jesus brings us first hand authentic testimony which kept intact a provable chain of custody all the way back to the KoG of which He claimed to be King. In order for a person to declare Jesus their King they must see His Kingdom and join that Kingdom by becoming subject to its laws and His Kingship. So a true religion on earth should be an embassy of Christ and His Kingdom.

In my last posting A Perfect Witness to Truth I discussed how the main religious organization at the time of Christ, use the fact that Jesus presented testimonial evidence that He was King, as a means to get the secular authority to squash a perceived rival for their spiritual authority. The some religious authorites of this world often perceive their spiritual authority as an extension of God’s Kingdom. Like many religious organizations today the Jewish group in Jerusalem at the time of Christ did not have the authority to put a man to death so they declared secular authority to be superior and declared their unity with that earthly kingdom. Likewise today many religious organizations experience the same lack of a spiritual authority so they declare unity with an earthly kingdoms to increase their power and influence.

 John 8:23
And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

We must learn to look past the worldly traditions and interpretations of scripture and quietly let God’s Spirit through prayer, contemplation and meditation bring us revelation concerning the testimony of our heavenly Father and of Jesus our Brother. It is possible to find relevant understanding and to achieve a Christ-like spiritual lifestyle on earth today. This is not a knock on those past interpretations but mankind is called to go past our present point of understanding. We must take on the responsibility to lay our lives down for the next generation and mine new understanding and to do that we must let go of some of our traditions in order to take a fresh look at the spiritual landscape ahead of us and to hear the still voice of God.

John 4:32
But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”

 John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

When we analyze the testimony of Jesus we should be able to detect that His evidence was not of this world and if we are to help others see His world we need to interpret scripture differently from the traditional view presented by some religions. Some religious groups have become devoid to any connection with the spiritual realm. Their understanding, goals and authority are completely focused on earthly things.

Jesus clearly states for the record that the evidence He is presenting is not of this world. This means that anyone not having eyes to see will misinterpret the evidence. Their reaction may be well-meaning like wanting to protect the orthodoxy of their beliefs. Most anti-Kingdom responses are from a place of ignorance and not willful defiance to God. In fact the very testimony of Christ on the cross was Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

As children of God and citizens of the Kingdom we also need to make very clearly that the love, peace, mercy, grace and any other piece of evidence we present did not originate from this world. An apostolic anointing is the ability to bring evidence from heaven to earth. This is what should be meant when we pray on earth as it is in heaven. However in a lot of cases when we analyze religious organizations and the mindsets of its followers we see a twisted interpretation of an earthly kingdom being presented as God’s Kingdom.

True ambassadors have one mission and that is for the judgment of our peers to agree to willingly be reconciled to our Father in the KoG. The purpose of Jesus’ testimonial evidence is to establish and enlighten awareness concerning a realm not easily seen from earth and all Disciples of Christ should be doing the same. We establish that which already exist by changing the minds of those that are blind to the truth of God’s Kingdom. This is simple but not easy and is the reason we also must have the words forgive them for they know not what they do, in our hearts.

 John 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Love is the only way to win the others into the KoG. Love is the only way to get a person to willingly change their point of view from this world to the KoG. As children of the Kingdom we are known for our love and we are known for loving our enemies until they recognize that we are all family. The moment God becomes our Father every other human becomes our brother or sister. When this revelation reaches critical mass and begins to cause awareness in enough people on earth the Kingdom of God will begin to emerge. Scriptural prophecy speaks of a day when the evidence of God’s Kingdom will be accepted as common knowledge by many humans on earth.

Isaiah 11:8-10  The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole,
And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.
10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse,Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”

Made in the KoG

Evidence is simply the proof of fact. The specific evidence we are discussing is that which concerns the invisible realm. Jesus Christ identified it as the Kingdom within. As sons and daughters of Adam we all live in this 3-dimensional materialistic world and with the use of our 5 senses we observe material objects and the relationships of those objects which includes our own human body. At the birth of Adam God breathed His Spirit into mankind, making him /her capable of experiencing the spiritual world and thus man and women became living souls with flesh and spirit having the ability to observe and interact within both the material and spiritual worlds.

Today most people have lost their awareness of the spiritual realm. Humans are born and trained to rely only their senses that observe only this materialistic world. In Christian religious thought and through a process known as the new birth, people can become awakened again and become aware of the spiritual world also known as the Kingdom of God. Sadly today most of Christian religious participation places much of its biblical focus and understanding only on how our new relationship affects the things of this material world. Furthermore if there is an examination of biblical references to the spiritual realm it is traditionally interpreted to deal with our relationship after death of the human body. In other words as long as we have a material body, biblical references to spiritual laws will apply after we get new spiritual bodies.

Where religion falls short in its exploration the of man’s spiritual conscious, man outside of religion will use it imagination and invent a life free from the constraints of the material world. Today’s media artist create factious characters with abilities to see the dead, experience freedom from death and use heighten brain function that provide the recall of memories, and increased wisdom. The phenomena of vampires, math geniuses, and people with super social and psychic capabilities are very popular today.

But to most people they have no idea that this is the very mission of God or heavenly Father. The bible speaks to Adam as the prototype and also speaks of Jesus as being (excuse my humor) Adam version 2.0 or the last Adam.  Evidence of the Spirit made flesh is the focus of this blog. Encouraging each other to become more like Christ and having the mind of Christ will be this blogs legacy. That is having a spiritual consciousness and an understanding that we need and can make known the things of God. Because God is Spirit and no human eyes can see the image of God. However Jesus was famous for saying “if you see me then you see the Father”.

Genesis 1:26-27 (New King James Version)   Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

So as we explore the testimony of Jesus and gather our personal evidence it is all about making conscience the spiritual realm or the KoG. It is easy to gather evidence concerning the operation of laws in the material world. So unless we become aware of the spiritual realm and train our spiritual senses to observe this invisible Kingdom we will remain blind to the fact. So the reason for this blog is simply to awaken those that are blind and to share with those that are already awake on how to gather evidence for the purpose of awakening others. It is my hope that this will be a conversation because I realize I am on a journey like others and I have a lot to learn. Needless to say that there is still within me the need for a greater awakening.

Please comment or submit evidence:

  1. As to when you became awake to the spiritual realities.
  2. Who was the last person you helped to awaken.
